This is one of the very first grape varieties planted here. According to historical records Cabernet Franc has roots that run all the way to Spain and has been imported from the Pyrenees by French pilgrims to later become one of the most famous and widespread red wines in the world. As the name tells us, this wine has a solid character, an unmistakable bouquet and has adapated itself to the territory of Friuli and its characteristics through time.
